No more back-breaking work.
Dexpan is ideally suited to projects where the surrounding environment is sensitive to vibrations or where there is risk damage from flying debris. Combined with our techniques, Dexpan is a safe and easy alternative that reduces injuries and WCB claims, as well as worker absenteeism.

No more blasting or dangerous explosives!
Dexpan is a safe, silent and non-explosive solution that is ideal for sensitive areas where blasting is not possible. Applying for a blasting permit can take weeks, and at the end of the process, a permit isn't even guaranteed. Dexpan Canada is now certified to use Nxburst. A non-explosive gas charge that quickly and quietly breaks unwanted rock. Boulders to cliff faces, Dexpan Canada is your quick and quiet rock and concrete breaking and removal solution.

Dexpan is a clay-based powder that, when mixed with water, expands and creates enough pressure to break rock and concrete in a matter of hours. The resulting rock or concrete chunks are small enough to be easily hauled away. Dexpan is excellent for mass concrete removal, boulders, bedrock and granite rock. Dexpan provides a safe alternative solution in projects involving concrete repair or demolition, and in rock blasting and removal.

Simply drill your holes, mix Dexpan with water, pour it into the holes, wait 6-24 hrs and voilà! The rock or concrete will be all broken up and ready to be removed, or used as decorative elements in the landscape.

    60-unit Housing Development

    Sechelt video

Due to a city-wide strike in Sechelt on Vancouver Island, JDS Properties couldn't get the  blasting permits they needed to develop their 60-unit building project. Little did they know at the time that it would be a blessing in disguise.

Time is money, and when you've got money borrowed from the bank to develop a project, the last thing you want is to have your project stalled while applying for a blasting permit. Thanks to Dexpan, being able to develop their units right away saved them time and money, and reduced their costs by 50% from not having to buy explosives.
